Job Description

Schedule: Thursday to Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

You will be responsible for moving semi-trailers within the Vegpro yard. You will also be required to follow and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (OHS, Good Agricultural Practices, and food safety standards).

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate a yard truck (“shunter”) to move semi-trailers

· Perform trailer movements within the yard

· Frequently perform backing maneuvers

· Plan and sequence movements to optimize available space

· Position trailers for pickup by external carriers in the appropriate locations

· Be solely responsible for yard movements and organization during your shift

· Conduct an accurate daily yard inventory

· Perform daily inspections of the yard truck and report any issues

· Set temperatures on refrigeration units according to operational needs and planned shipments

· Operate the yard truck in an open environment where pedestrians and other vehicles are always present
