Location:
Based on the South Shore of Montreal, at Solar Uniquartier in Brossard. Conveniently located about 5 minutes from the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge, near the interchange of Highways 15 South, 10 and 30.

Occasional Travel:
On the South Shore of Montreal, in Saint-Patrice-de-Sherrington. Conveniently located about 30 minutes from the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge, near the interchange of Highways 15 South, 10 and 30.

Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Director – Quality & Food Safety Center of Excellence, you will play a key role in improving, simplifying, and optimizing activities related to food microbiology and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and carry out continuous improvement projects.

  • Coordinate pilot projects with external partners and internal teams.

  • Act as a quality leader or expert during project implementation.

  • Serve as a quality expert and leader in the deployment of new processes, technologies, equipment, and infrastructures.

Food Safety

  • Plan, develop, and execute validation protocols.

  • Monitor project progress and support multidisciplinary teams (R&D, Quality, Production, Agriculture) in the execution of their projects.

  • Ensure effective communication between the various teams.

Main Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Food Science and Technology, or equivalent training
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the food industry
  • Knowledge of microbiological standards and analytical methods (a valuable asset!)
  • Bilingual FR/EN – you switch easily between both languages to communicate with our various clients (BC and FL)
  • Comfortable with MS Office and curious about Lean Six Sigma approaches

  • Strong analytical skills, rigor, and exceptional attention to detail
