Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Transport Manager, the Coordinator plays a key role in the planning, coordination, and follow-up of daily supply-related activities. The role ensures the smooth flow of the supply chain by working closely with various operational teams and actively participating in day-to-day operations. Integrated into evening and weekend teams, the Coordinator helps ensure operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and ensure the smooth execution of daily activities

  • Manage emergency situations related to operational requirements and propose quick, effective solutions in collaboration with key stakeholders

  • Schedule client appointments to coordinate deliveries

  • Schedule raw material pickups with suppliers

  • Communicate proactively with carriers to ensure efficient planning

  • Prepare required documentation (e.g., purchase orders) and forward them to carriers and suppliers

  • Ensure transportation costs comply with negotiated agreements

  • Monitor and manage supply by establishing the weekly supply plan

  • Coordinate raw material replenishment

  • Follow up on orders with internal and external suppliers

  • Manage inventories to identify at-risk stock levels (shortages or surpluses)

  • Create new orders and make required changes in the computer system

  • Deliver a high level of customer service

  • Receive, analyze, escalate, or resolve customer feedback and issues

  • Perform certain activities using customer software systems

  • Produce various reports and compile statistics

Main Responsibilities

  • Diploma in logistics, supply chain management (completed or in progress), or any other relevant training

  • Experience and/or interest in learning the agri-food industry and the manufacturing sector

  • Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written, to ensure effective communication with external suppliers and various stakeholders

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

  • Experience and/or interest in learning ERP, MRP, or WMS systems

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple teams

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong priority management and ability to work under pressure

  • Resourcefulness and creativity in problem-solving
