Job Description
Under the supervision of the Sanitation Supervisor, the Sanitation Attendant is responsible for performing cleaning and sanitation activities on production equipment in accordance with established standards and procedures.
· Rinse, scrub, clean, and wash production machinery
· Push lettuce and blow air on production equipment
· Empty garbage bins
· Wash conveyors using water hoses
· Remove condensation and water from walls, ceilings, and floors
· Perform any other related duties as required
Main Responsibilities
· High school diploma is an asset
· 0 to 6 months of relevant experience, ideally in a manufacturing or food processing environment
· Ability to work standing in a cold and humid environment (3°C)
· Ability to lift loads of up to 50 lbs (for certain workstations)
· Strong observation skills and sense of urgency
· Ability to work under pressure
· Detail-oriented and versatile
· Strong team spirit
